With three branches located in the Philippines, Watami is quite a big name internationally. They are currently operating about 700 branches in various countries in Asia such as Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan.
Getting inside the restaurant, a familiar Japan feel in the air will welcome you with just one sniff. Its relatively small room with Japanese inspired fixtures and wall decors will virtually transport you to the land of the rising sun’s vigorous street markets; propping up the new Watami’s Izakaya concept.

To maintain the consistency of the taste of the food they serve, Watami has its own consultant Japanese chef. They also conducts regular appointment with their international counterpart management.
Recommended dishes are skewers in general but for the other category you can try their beef pepper rice, spicy salmon and watami salad – these are the dishes which their customers remember for the excellent taste, making them come back to Watami everytime.

Another best thing about this 3rd branch of Watami is that they offer food at more affordable prices without sacrificing the quality, since they are also targeting after-work crowd. Their flavourful skewers start from only 40 pesos per piece (chicken skin) while the most pricey is the Salmon Kani which is 145 pesos. If you just can’t decide, you can avail their creative assorted skewers with 5 kinds of your choice for only 225 pesos.
