June Eatery in BGC: An All-Day Dining Concept
June Eatery, a newly opened restaurant in BGC, Taguig launched in February 2026, brings together coffee, brunch, bistro dining, and natural wine in an all-day dining concept.

June was first conceptualized through the team’s first restaurant and wine bar called Bibio in Poblacion, Makati, with the idea of creating a sister restaurant built around an all-day format—serving coffee and brunch during the day, then shifting into a bistro and wine bar at night.

The concept is a collaboration between Melissa and Kaity, childhood friends behind Wild Poppy and Hola Bombon, and Justin and Vanessa, the husband-and-wife team behind Natty Wines Inc. Melissa and Kaity first met Justin and Vanessa while sourcing natural wines for Hola Bombon, which eventually led the four partners to open Bibio in 2023.

Through Bibio’s regular kitchen takeovers, where visiting chefs were invited to create for weekend residencies, the group met Chef Kier Ibañez. After collaborating closely during his takeover and later having him helm Bibio’s kitchen as resident chef for several months, the group eventually came together to build June Eatery.
Originally from Cebu, Chef Kier Ibañez spent 12 years in Auckland, New Zealand, focusing on café and brunch concepts before becoming known for his communal pop-up project Long Table. As a part of a newer wave of Filipino chefs experimenting with identity-driven cuisine—food that reflects personal history and cross-cultural experience, he brings those experiences at June.
