A colorful new treat from Japan is ready to sweeten Makati! Jack in the Donuts Philippines is set to celebrate its grand opening on July 24, 2026, at Level 2 of Glorietta 4, bringing its playful selection of world-inspired and Japanese donuts closer to Filipino dessert lovers.

Established in Japan in 2011, Jack in the Donuts was created around the excitement of discovering something unexpected. Inspired by the surprise of a “jack-in-the-box,” the brand offers a vibrant assortment of donuts influenced by treats from around the world, alongside original Japanese creations for both children and adults.

The Glorietta 4 branch will serve several of its signature varieties, including soft malasadas, éclair choux donuts, old-fashioned donuts, fashion donuts, premium rings, and colorful pon de ring-style creations.
Guests may look forward to the Soft Malasada Custard, Condensed Milk, Ube, and Crème Brûlée, as well as Uji Matcha, Coffee, Milk Tea, and Chocolate Custard Éclair Choux.
The Soft Malasada Ube features a light, fluffy malasada dough made with pumpkin and sweet potato, filled with rich and creamy ube for a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth finish.

The Uji Matcha Eclair Choux, on the other hand, is made with premium Uji matcha from Kyoto. This indulgent choux pastry is filled with rich, slightly bitter matcha custard for a deep, elegant flavor in every bite.

Other eye-catching choices include the Galaxy Donut, Premium Matcha, Premium Rich Chocolate, Strawberry Da Pon, Chocolate Da Pon, and the adorable Kuma Da Pon.
The Premium Rich Chocolate has a rich chocolate glaze, crunchy chocolate and almond crumbles, with a crispy outside and chewy inside that creates a completely new texture.

The donuts can also be paired with the shop’s lineup of hot and iced drinks. Options include Americano, Cappuccino, Café Latte, Iced Spanish Latte, Salted Caramel Latte, Strawberry Latte, Green Tea Latte, Earl Grey Latte, Iced Chocolate Dalgona, French Vanilla Iced Coffee, and Toffee Double Nut Grande Latte. Espresso shots and milk alternatives such as soy, skim, oat, and almond milk are also available.
