Founded in 2007 in Hanoi, Vietnam, Cong Caphe started as a small cafe with a vision to bring authentic Vietnamese coffee culture to life, blending strong, bold flavors with nostalgic ’70s-inspired interiors. Over the years, it has grown into an internationally recognized brand that’s known for its signature coconut coffee, impressive caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages, and cozy vintage feels.
Now, this beloved brand is finally making its way to the Philippines, with its first branch opening on March 16, 2025, at Gateway Mall 2 in Quezon City!

Known for their bold flavors, unique Vietnamese brewing methods, and fun twists on classic drinks, Cong Caphe uses robusta beans grown in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, which are known for their deep, chocolatey notes and strong caffeine kick. And instead of the usual espresso-based drinks, they brew their coffee using phin filters, a slow-drip method that produces a rich, intense, and aromatic brew. Must-tries include their signature coconut coffee, a blend of Vietnamese coffee and coconut milk.

Aside from usual coffee brews, they have citrus-infused refreshments inspired by Vietnam’s regional flavors. One of their standout offerings is the Cocoa with Cinnamon, a rich and indulgent drink with velvety foam and a sprinkle of aromatic cinnamon. If you prefer something light and fizzy, try the Đà Nẵng Salted Lime with Soda, a zingy blend of salted lime and bubbly soda that delivers the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tart flavors. Another must-try is the Sài Gòn Salted Kumquat with real kumquats that add a zesty citrus punch to your drink. For a truly authentic Vietnamese experience, the Hà Nội Dracontomelon with Soda is a great pick. Dracontomelon, which is a fruit widely enjoyed in Hanoi, gives this drink a uniquely sweet-tangy twist, thanks to the addition of soda that elevates its refreshing taste.
