Founded in Naha, Okinawa, in 2015, Yappari Steak began as a six-seat restaurant built around the idea of serving high-quality steak in a fun, approachable, and affordable way. Inspired by Okinawa’s tradition of ending a night with steak, the brand has since grown to more than 100 locations across Japan and has expanded to Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Nepal, and the Philippines.
Yappari Steak first entered the Philippines with its Cebu branch at TOPS in Busay before expanding to Metro Manila. Today, the brand continues to grow with its other branches in Park Triangle Mall in BGC, SM East Ortigas, SM Southmall, and Calle Bistro Ever Gotesco.
Its SM Mall of Asia branch accommodates around 48 guests and accepts walk-ins as well as reservations through its Facebook and Instagram pages.

The restaurant is known for its Hamburger Steak (200g Set Meal – Php 398), made fresh daily in-house using halal-certified imported Angus beef. Each patty is prepared with a balanced meat-to-fat ratio and served on the brand’s signature lava stone, allowing guests to continue cooking it to their preferred doneness at the table. The set meal includes rice and soup.

Another signature dish is the Yappari Steak (150g Set Meal – Php 598), made with premium top blade beef butchered in-house for consistency and served on a lava stone with rice and soup.

Aside from steaks, Yappari Steak also serves rice meals such as Beef Curry Rice (Php 295), a rich and hearty Japanese comfort dish that can also be paired with steak for a more filling meal.

Rather than centering on a single chef, Yappari Steak follows the standards established by its headquarters in Okinawa. Kitchen teams in the Philippines undergo in-house training in butchery, meat preparation, cooking techniques, and service to deliver the same dining experience found across the brand’s restaurants in Japan.
Whether you are a steak lover or simply looking for a Japanese-style dining experience, Yappari Steak offers thick-cut steaks, lava stone grilling, rice meals, and budget-friendly options in the Philippines.
