This February 2025, Korea Garden begins a new chapter as it reopens in a brand-new location along Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City. While the address may have changed, its culinary legacy remains as vibrant as ever—a true testament to a dining institution that continues to stand the test of time.

This well-established restaurant has been operating since 1974 with traditional Korean cuisine as well as contemporary dishes in the forefront of their extensive menu options.

First, start off with their best-selling appetizer, the Pajeon, a savory Korean pancake made with onion leeks and a light, crispy batter.

Pan-fried until golden on the edges yet soft at the center, it’s perfect for sharing among two to three people and serves as a comforting introduction to the meal, especially when dipped into its tangy soy-based sauce.

For soups to whet your appetite even better, you may try another best-seller, the Sundubu-jjigae, a spicy soft tofu soup with egg, pork, and shrimp.

Served bubbling hot, its silky tofu and richly seasoned broth deliver a comforting depth of flavor with just the right kick of heat. While the soup is satisfying on its own, you may always share it with companions as a warm, flavorful starter to the meal.

Finally, for the mains, among the most popular items on their menu is the Kalbi Chim, Korea Garden’s iconic and flavorful hearty beef stew.

Slow-braised until tender, the beef is infused with a rich, savory sauce that balances sweetness and depth, creating a comforting dish packed with bold Korean flavors. Good for two, this generous serving makes for a satisfying centerpiece, perfect for sharing and best enjoyed with a bowl of steaming rice.

Together with Korean staples such as their Bulgogi dishes, the menu also features well-loved variations like Dwaeji Bulgogi (pork barbecue), Dak Bulgogi (chicken barbecue), and Saeu Bulgogi (grilled spicy shrimp).

Fried Chicken, Korean-style double fried chicken wings that is simply irresistible with its juicy and flavorful meat. You may partner these with their selection of alcoholic beverages ranging from soju to beers, and the traditional Korean makgeolli made of fermented rice.
