  • While in the resort onsen area of Noboribetsu, you might want to eat local food. Noboribetsu Enma Yakisoba serves spicy hot dishes. Make sure you order the Yakisoba set menu with kimchi and miso soup (¥1,360). It’s a mix of vegetables, seafood, flat noodles, and spicy sauce. It has a subtle sweetness from the sesame seed and the amount of spiciness is just perfect.

This also appears in Philippine Primer English Magazine’s January issue.
