At the helm is Owner and Executive Chef Kennedy Alfonso, whose culinary background is shaped by hands-on experience and exposure to European cuisine, particularly in Spain. His approach centers on respecting tradition while applying thoughtful execution, resulting in dishes that are both purposeful and well-crafted.

Notably, the restaurant was honored with the Food and Beverage Excellence Award for 2025 at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Leadership Awards (ICCPI)—an annual recognition that celebrates businesses and organizations demonstrating excellence, innovation, and strong Italian–Filipino partnerships.

Upon entering, the space exudes a warm, refined ambiance that blends rustic Italian charm with contemporary elegance.

High ceilings with wood paneling and exposed brick arches create an inviting, airy feel, while soft neutral tones and textured walls with gold accents add a subtle sense of sophistication.

Tartufo Ristorante places strong emphasis on premium imported ingredients, mostly sourced from Italy, including San Marzano tomatoes, burrata, truffle products, and cured meats. These are complemented by locally sourced produce and house-made components, ensuring both authenticity and balance across the menu.

Among the highlights is the Chef’s Pasta (Php 790), flambéed in a cheese wheel and finished with truffle oil and prosciutto, with a choice of rigatoni or linguine. Prepared tableside, it delivers richness while maintaining a well-balanced flavor profile.

Another standout is the Osso Buco Milanese (Php 1,450), featuring slow-cooked beef shank paired with creamy risotto, prepared to achieve a tender texture and deep, savory flavor.

Their Neapolitan-inspired pizzas are crafted using Italian “00” flour and undergo a 24 to 48-hour fermentation process, developing both flavor and structure. The dough is handled gently to preserve air pockets, creating a light, airy crust, then baked in a high-temperature stone oven at 450 to 500°C for 60 to 90 seconds, producing a lightly charred exterior with a soft center.

A classic choice is the Pizza Margherita (Php 740), made with homemade pomodoro sauce, fresh basil, and mozzarella, showcasing the simplicity and quality of its ingredients.

To end on a sweet note, the Tiramisu Veloce (Php 610) is a popular favorite, made with coffee-soaked ladyfingers layered with mascarpone and ricotta. Served tableside, it adds an interactive and visually appealing finish to the meal.

The restaurant also features a curated selection of wines and cocktails, ideal for pairing with its dishes. Guests can take advantage of the All-Day Happy Hour (Php 550), offering a buy-one-get-one deal on cocktails with a selection of seven cocktails.

For private events, Tartufo Ristorante provides flexible arrangements. A VIP Room is available at Php 2,500 per person (minimum of 18 guests), while full restaurant rental is offered at Php 200,000 for up to 80 guests.
