Since the township will have its own beach, THE MACTAN NEWTOWN is also expected to build five hotels which include two beachfront hotels that overlook the Hilutungan Channel. The company is also building its own exclusive, world-class beach club at the township’s beachfront, and sports facilities that will promote active lifestyle by the beach.
Living In The Township
Boasting a redefined living experience in a township masterpiece, Megaworld also brings condominium living to a whole new level with the spectacular views of the historic Mactan Shrine, Magellan Bay, and the Hilutungan Channel.
Currently, THE MACTAN NEWTOWN has 10 luxury condominium towers in the pipeline: four towers for 8 Newtown Boulevard, which is expected to be completed by first half of 2015; three towers for One Pacific Residence; and three towers for One Manchester Place. For the cyberpark, Megaworld is fast tracking the construction of its state-of-the-art office towers and the township. The township’s first office tower, One World Center, is now fully leased by two international Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing (IT-BPO) companies – US-based Enfra USA and Results Manila.
On the other hand, Two World Center has been topped off recently and is expected to open for operations this June.
Also, soon to rise at THE MACTAN NEWTOWN is a school that will be supervised by the Lasallian Schools Supervision Office (LASSO). Covering an area of 7,000 sqm, The Newtown School of Excellence will be a multi-level building with state-of-the- art facilities such as laboratories, audio visual room, library, open and covered courts and other educational facilities. It is set to open its school year on 2016-2017, initially for the primary level.
Other projects underway in THE MACTAN NEWTOWN include hotels, a mall, retail and commercial strips, and leisure facilities.
THE MACTAN NEWTOWN is Megaworld’s first masterplanned mixed-use development in Central Visayas inspired by the company’s pioneering ‘live-work-play’ concept. Megaworld’s newest residential condominium cluster to rise at The Mactan Newtown
Megaworld, the country’s biggest real estate developer and pioneer of “live-work-play” township developments, launches One Manchester Place, the company’s newest residential condominium cluster to rise at The Mactan Newtown.
One Manchester Place is a three-tower condominium cluster which will have a direct access to a mall that will soon rise in the township. The first tower, which is 18-storeys high and has a closer access to Punta Engano Road, is now exclusively being offered to interested buyers. Available units are executive studio (starting from 42 sqm including balcony), one-bedroom (starting from 56 sqm including balcony), two-bedroom (starting from 70 sqm including balcony), and three-bedroom (starting from 92 sqm including balcony).
Each unit is fitted with pre-fabricated closets for bedrooms, sleeping dens, and kitchen cabinets. Each kitchen will be pre-furnished with four-burner (for two and three bedroom units) and two-burner cooktops (for one-bedroom units) as well as oven and range hood.
