    Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an exclusive Kaiseki Dinner Menu at Hotel Okura Manila’s Yamazato.

    Enjoy seafood delicacies made with the freshest ingredients such as tuna, scallop, salmon, and shrimp. Priced at Php 6,888++ per person, the special Valentine’s Kaiseki Menu consists of specially crafted dishes such as steamed sea bream with tofu, shiitake mushroom, and leek with ponzu sauce; clear soup steamed in a tea pot, grilled Japanese Wagyu beef with lemon sauce, and a course of Koshihikari rice steamed with oysters – accompanied by miso soup and pickles. Finish the night with a traditional winter dessert, shiratama rice-flour dumplings with sweet red bean paste. With an aperitif, the menu is at Php 7,888++ per person.

    Welcome The Year Of The Ox

    Welcome the Year of the Ox with Yamazato’s Teppanyaki Kaiseki menu, featuring Australian Wagyu beef tenderloin, pork belly, and turnip cake with scallop and snow crab.

    Highlights on the special 8-course Teppanyaki Kaiseki Menu include Jellyfish Salad with Soy Dressing, Braised Pork Belly with Yamazato’s original sauce, Grilled Shrimp Soup with Mochi Rice Cake and Wolfberry, Turnip Cake with Scallop and Crab, Grilled White Meat Fish and Vegetables with Three Kinds of Sauces, Australian Wagyu Beef Tenderloin (120g), Garlic Rice, and Miso Soup. For dessert, the chefs make use of the Japanese teppan creatively to flambé the classic Red Bean Crepe before serving it with custard sauce.

    This special menu is available from February 12 to 21 2021. Ingredients may change slightly depending on availability. For inquiries and reservations, please call  02-5318-2888. Yamazato is located at the 2nd Floor of Hotel Okura Manila within the Resorts World Manila complex. It is open from Tuesdays to Sundays for lunch (11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and dinner (6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
