Popular navigation app Waze partners with the Department of Tourism (DOT) for “100 Days in the Philippines,” a project that aims to highlight the colorful history and culture of the country.

In a statement, Country Manager of Waze Philippines Sarah Rodriguez expressed the company’s excitement to be able to inspire motorists to explore and know more about the country with the help of DOT.
“Through this partnership, we hope to see more Filipinos taking trips of wonder,” she added.
Tourism Assistant Secretary Howie Uyking shared the same sentiment, noting that with all the international travel recognitions that the Philippines has received for the year, now is the best time to take part in what the country has to offer especially in the sector of travel and tourism.
