Introduction and briefing
Local and foreign business representatives from all over the nation gathered to experience this refreshing event. The mechanics of the event are just like speed dating: attendees face each other across a rectangular table. Each attendee is given two minutes to speak and exchange information with one another. After conversing for two minutes each, the attendees are going to rotate in a clockwise manner to meet other participants.
“I think it is an excellent networking [event] and I met a lot of people. It’s very interesting because most of them where in the same business similar to us or in connection in what we do, so I would say it is quite productive,” Leonardo Bruge’ ICCPR Deputy Director Business Development and Special Projects shared after the event.
A lot of attendees found the idea of speed dating being applied to business matters to be profoundly impressive.
“In the beginning, you have to gauge the timing, but I think two minutes is a good timing to be good and effective,” he added when asked if this kind of environment is ideal in meeting potential business partners.
Attendees meet and greet each other.
The 5th Networking Night event is co-presented by the British, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish Chambers of Commerce.
Business representatives and other participants are already anticipating for next year’s event, hoping for more improvements and in organizing the occasion.
