  • How to be productive even in traffic: ASUS X407 and X507
  • Traffic stresses people out, costs businesses money, and takes away from how productive you can be. Sitting in your car during rush hour is no fun, and for people who need to be in front of a computer to do their work (answering emails, working on presentations, updating websites, monitoring, etc.) tend to get a notebook for just this purpose.

This, however, poses another problem: having a mobile lifestyle means your notebook has to be ready to go within the hour before you leave for your next appointment. Ordinary notebooks can’t keep up with that stress unless you charge them beforehand (roughly 2-3 hours before) — that is, until you meet the ASUS X407 and ASUS X507.

First unveiled in the country during yesterday’s ASUS360 City launch, the X407 and the X507 do wonders for both the mobile executive and the freelance worker. These lightweight everyday powerhouses (the X407 is at 1.5kg while the X507 is at 1.68 kg) come with a host of specs that you’d expect out of something that’s more for the office table rather than your lap — all at an entry-level price.

FINGER-PRINT ACCESS. The ASUS X407/X507 notebook doesn’t need you to type in your password. Your fingerprint is all it needs.

Impressive spec sheet aside, what really sets the X407 and X507 apart from the rest of the notebooks in its price range is a safe, fast-charging, and longer-lasting battery.

“We spend a lot of time on the road, and no one is exempted from it. At ASUS, we looked at this challenge and thought of what we can offer as a solution,” said George Su, ASUS Philippines Country Manager, during the ASUS360 launch that happened yesterday at the SM Mega Fashion Hall.

“Both the X407 and X507 have a quick-charge function with lets you charge the battery to 60% in as little as 45 minutes. If you have to catch a jeep along the street or your flight at NAIA, this feature is the best solution for your notebooks. This is our way of answering this particular challenge everyone faces,” he added.

Yes, you read that right. The X407 and X507 can be charged to 60% in as little as 45 minutes (49 if coming from a near-dead battery). 60% may not sound like much, but if you’re leaving in an hour and you have a notebook that’s just about dead, the fast-charge feature is a lifesaver.

A SLIM NANO-EDGE DISPLAY lets you and anyone else you’re presenting to view what’s on your screen in complete clarity. That, combined with the 178-degree field of view, makes sure no one is left out.

With the ASUS X407/X507, the days of you worrying about not having enough juice in your notebook are gone. Combined with top-of-the-line specs (7th generation Core i7, dual-storage, nano-edge display, and fingerprint login to name a few) and a price tag starting at only Php 27,995, you’ll have nothing but love for these new ASUS notebooks.

The ASUS X407 and X507 will be available on Lazada by the third week of March and will hit ASUS authorized dealers and resellers by April.
