  • A new restaurant just recently opened at the City of Dreams Manila that specializes in Northern Chinese Cuisine.

    Jing Ting is a casual dining restaurant where diners can enjoy authentic dishes made from Chinese chefs. Jing Ting, which means ‘little house’, takes you to the Northern part of China which has small restaurants along the galley way that offers home made dishes for all.The restaurant can cater to 92 customers and has an open kitchen that is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 am daily.

    Upon entering you’ll immediately notice the gray bricks and cherry blossom pictures imported from China. Their take on the modern red lantern adds a romantic yet homey feeling.Jing Ting showcases Northern cuisines that are bold, rich and contains all flavors in one bite.

    Jing Ting showcases Northern cuisines that are bold, rich and contains all flavors in one bite. They employ different cooking methods such as braising, steaming, roasting, and stir-frying. At Jing Ting, every dish will surprise you as each is inspired by the different cities of Northern China.

    The dishes are complex and enticing, and all the ingredients they use are all imported from China, such as their flour and spices. Some of the spices that they use are coriander and cumin, that accentuates each dish.

    Genghis Khan Roasted Prime Beef Short Ribs (Php 1,380)

    Their menu includes Genghis Khan Roasted Prime Beef Short Ribs, inspired from Mongolia as Northern China is located near the border of Mongolia. They also have Poached Pork Kimchi “Jiao Zi” Dumpling, a dish inspired from Korea.

    Chef de Cuisine Yang Chen Fei or Chef Allan is a new addition to the family of City of Dreams Manila. With a total of 15 years of experience, Chef Allan shares his skills to his staff that he trained personally for 3 months to perfect the art of pulling noodles that they make from scratch. He started as a pastry Chef and rose up to fame as a head chef for various 5-star hotels and premium restaurants in China.

    When you dine you can watch how they make their hand pulled noodles made fresh and from scratch. If you’re looking for something sweet they also have desserts such as Palace Snow Skin Pastry Roll with Sesame and Peanuts and Chilled Honey and Red Bean Cake.
