Hot Summer Stuff for the Kids in April and May Part 2
Adults and teenagers alike wait for summer and its many activities that spell fun and relaxation all year round. With so many things like Laboracay and Slidefest Philippines happening, we just can’t decide where to start! But as we said in our previous article, summer is for the kids, too. Although they’ve waited long for this much needed break, it is also a great time for them to get to know something new, further hone their skills or find a new hobby and it is our jobs as parents to let them realize this and give them the opportunity. Here we have a couple of workshops happening this summer that are great for your little tykes:

Power Mac Center’s Kinder iPad Class (Kiddie Digital Finger Painting, Kiddie Movie Making, Kiddie 3D Robot Creation)

Technology plays a big role in the lives of today’s children. They use it for school, communicating with friends and of course, updating us with what’s happening with them when they’re not with us. One gadget that they probably learned to use even before they learned how to speak would be the iPad. But of course, there is always room for new knowledge and they (you as well) might have been clueless about the lessons to be taught in this workshop.
Trinoma: Ages 4-6 | 2pm-4pm |April 27-May 1
Greenbelt: Ages 4-6 | 2pm-4pm | May 18-22

Hobbes and Landes and Little Luna’s All Aboard the Green Train
Photo from HobbesandLandes.com
Going green has been all the rage in recent years along with the increase of awareness for the environment. As parents, it is our responsibility to teach our kids to be sensitive and aware when it comes to their environment. Hobbes and Landes along with Little Luna brings this to us in a very artistic way as the workshop focuses on teaching children how to use materials that can be found at home or discarded items to make art. Hence, their tagline “Make something new out of the old”.
With these 5 workshops we’re sure your little one will surely have a blast. At the same time, they get to learn something new. After all, being idle will do them no good so might as well make them do something worthwhile.
