Camiguin Island is an island located in the northern part of Mindanao. Aptly called as an “Island Born of Fire,” this island has seven volcanoes, with two still considered as active. With its scenic natural beauty, many tourists flock to this island to see what Camiguin is all about.

When in Camiguin Island, you will be able to experience adventures you have always loved to try. Here, you can see the white island, greeting you with its white-sand beach and pristine waters. Also, you can see the Sunken cemetery which is also a popular attraction in Camiguin if you wish to see more than just the island. Be sure to see Katibawasan Falls as well to make the most of your summer outing. Take a dip at the cold spring of the 250-meters high cascading falls surrounded by lush greeneries that will make you feel more relaxed as you enjoy your summer break. Camiguin Island is full of springs and beaches you should see so be prepared to get wet as you travel in this beautiful island in the Philippines.

To get here by plane, several airlines such as Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have flights from Manila to Cagayan de Oro and Butuan from Manila. When you reach Laguindingan International Airport (also known as Cagayan de Oro airport), head to Agora Market Terminal for your transport to Camiguin. You can also take the ferry from Cebu City that sails to Balbagon port in Camiguin.

Explore the Camiguin town as well to know historical facts and sights as it is easily accessible by land vehicles. For accommodations, there are various cottages and resorts you can stay in.

See the beautiful island of Camiguin and once you’ve marveled at this paradise, you’ll surely love to come again!
