Astro Camp by The Mind Museum Is Happening on December 15 to 16!
The Mind Museum invites you to witness one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year and wallow in the grandeur of the cosmos at this year’s Astro Camp, happening on December 15 to 16, 2018 at the Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp, Tanay, Rizal.
Sleep under the watchful eyes of the stars, discover more about the beauty of the cosmos, and behold the wonders of the Geminids Meteor Shower.

Families and friends of all ages are invited to join the festivities at the Astro Camp. Adults must accompany children below the age of 16 during the camp.
The registration fee costs Php 2, 900 per person until November 16 for early birds, while Php 3, 500 per person from November 17 to December 2. The regular rate is Php 3, 800 person, and there will be a 10 percent discount for holders of the Unlimited Science Pass.
The registration fee includes all the activities and workshops for the camp. It also includes the telescope viewing, a tent (1 tent per 4 pax), a set dinner and breakfast, and astronomy-themed souvenirs. The fee also gives the participants access to the amenities and facilities of the resort, as well as overnight parking.
Further, participants can expect a bonfire experience but it will be subject to the weather condition.

Through the telescope viewing activity, participants will be able to view the moon, Mars, and Venus. They will also witness the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades star cluster, and many more.
The highlight of the camp is the Geminids Meteor Show, which is regarded as one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year. It is expected to have a sighting of 120 meteors per hour at its peak. The name Geminids is derived from the constellation Gemini, where the meteors appear to come from in the sky.
