  • Grab PH Introduces New Line of App Services This 2019
  • Good news for loyal Grab users!

Grab PH announced they are continuing to expand their services in the country by bringing new innovative services like hotel bookings, on-demand video streaming, ticket purchasing, and bills payment into their app this 2019.

In a statement released by Grab last May 8 in their website, they are set to launch a line of new service concepts in addition to their existing app services. It aims to serve more of Filipinos’ everyday needs in a much convenient way—the Grab app.

“We are excited to offer these new services to our customers, giving them better access to the services that matter the most to them. A day with Grab can now be seamless from booking your ride to ordering your next meal and getting ready for your next movie date or holiday trip,” said Grab Group Head of Product and Design Jerald Singh.

First is the ‘Hotels’ service which started rolling out last May 9. Grab users can now book hotels and accommodations from travel sites like Agoda and Booking.com directly from the Grab app. Through this service, customers can access and compare hotel prices around the world, ranging from luxury and budget hotels to apartments, vacation homes, and B&Bs.

If you love watching movies, it will be easier to book cinema tickets through GrabPay’s integration with SM Cinemas in the ‘Tickets’ service. Made available on May 8, customers can use their wallet credits to purchase movie tickets via QR payments and online acceptance.

Grab will soon offer the online video content in their app through the ‘Videos’ service which will be available on the second half of 2019. This service is made in partnership with HOOQ, Asia’s first and largest video-on-demand service. App users can stream over 8,000 hours of blockbuster movies, TV series, and free-to-air content.

For a quick and secure way of paying your bills, Grab enables their users to settle their electricity, water, telco, cable, and internet bills through GrabPay. This will be available in the app in the third quarter of the year.

In addition to the aforementioned services, Grab is also set to release a delivery-only kitchen called the GrabKitchen here in the country which first launched in Indonesia.
