  • Dot Property Philippines: Millennials and The New Generation of Real Estate
  • As consumer habits are changing so fast, businesses should be quick to adapt, especially with millennials as a huge part of a business’ success. This might come as a surprise to some, but even in the world of real estate, millennials have the biggest growing number of contribution in the real estate industry online.

Proving how huge the contribution of millennials is in the real estate industry, is the recent record Dot Property accumulated on their online portal, reported on their Press Briefing last Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

Mr. Neil Sutton, COO, and Founder of Dot Property

Dot Property Philippines, a digital media company that operates property portal websites and magazines, offers thousands of properties to search from and keeps users informed through news, tips, and features. With the growing numbers of internet users, Dot Property Philippines reported to the press last Wednesday, their newest record of more than one million visits on their online portal in both May and June of this year.

Mr. Neil Sutton, COO and Founder of Dot Property briefly discussed how Dot Property’s online portal links potential buyers and sellers in a secured transaction. He talks about the public’s willingness to look for a property or a new home online where millennials are taking the lead.

Ms. Tanya Kristina P. Yu, Country Manager of Dot Property Philippines

As reported by Ms. Tanya Kristina P. Yu, Country Manager of Dot Property, 60% of the property searches came from users aged 25 to 36. “The real estate industry is moving online. This is a global trend and Filipinos have been quick to join especially millennials,” Ms. Yu shares. In addition to recording an all-time high in website visits, Ms. Yu also shares the increase in members of agents with 92% growth and their leads to 33% from last year.

Mr. Cheyenne Hollis, editor-in-chief of Dot Property Group

Aside from the growing page views of their online portal, Dot Property Philippines also partnered with media partners and companies to maximize their leads on digital, mobile, events and prints. Mr. Cheyenne Hollis, the editor-in-chief at Dot Property Group oversees the Dot Property Magazine which reaches other possible leads from hotels, coffee shops, and more.

The press asking questions to Dot Property Team

As Dot Property Philippines brings together property buyers, renters, investors, sellers, agents, and developers, they aim to make the move online faster and simpler while being one of the best tools to help sell and buy properties. “More Filipino home buyers, both domestically, as well as those overseas, are now using online property portals because it’s quick and easy to navigate,” said Ms. Yulo.

With their recently added home listings, partners and the merging of two sites, Dot Property believes that the visits and leads will increase more during the remainder of the year as the integration of real estate with the internet and social media provides easier access to property listings.

Dot Property Philippines believes that they are so much more than a website with property for sale — they are a partner who empowers the ability to reach potential buyers.
