First Grand Hyatt Hotel in PH opens in BGC
The first Grand Hyatt hotel in the country opened on January 15 in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, finally creating the gateway for luxurious living in the Philippines with its 461 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, seven multicultural and unique restaurant concepts, as well as a total of 1,190 square meters of sophisticated function spaces, highlighted by a 160 square meter show kitchen at The Grand Ballroom.

The intimate soft opening ceremony was held at the hotel’s lobby attended by Mr. Tom Smith, Senior Vice President for Operations of Hyatt hotels in Southeast Asia, Mr. Alfred Ty, Chairman, Federal Land Inc., together with its board of directors, as well as the hotel’s 300 associates. “We are ecstatic to be here today and share with the Filipino people the exceptional luxury experience that comes with every Grand Hyatt brand worldwide,” said Gottfried Bogensperger, General Manager, Grand Hyatt Manila. “It’s a wonderful day to open our doors and begin our purpose to deliver moments of more.”
