  • Eurocampus celebrates 25 years of excellence and diversity
  • It has been 25 years since the French and the German communities came together to form one school in Manila that would cater to expat children seeking European education in the country. Today, the Eurocampus – European International School’s 25th anniversary, was commemorated through a simple gathering of the students, the school’s leaders, and representatives from the French and German embassies.

Students and delegates gathered in one celebration of the Eurocampus’ 25th anniversary.

Among the delegates who graced the event with meaningful messages were German Ambassador to the Philippines Gordon Kricke, French Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of France Laurent Legodec, board members of the German School and French School, and the German and French headmasters.

This 25-year milestone is indeed one that deserves a celebration. 25 is not only a number—it is also significant to the individuals that this international school has honed through the years. For 25 years, Eurocampus Manila has been the second home to around 400 families of more than 50 nationalities, a place where different cultures meet and collaborate, a platform for children to grow as sensitive and sensible individuals who understand the needs of one another. The event served as a homage to the founding fathers and mothers of Eurocampus, who bravely faced the challenges in establishing and supporting the school.

On this day, new milestones were also applauded. As a school that’s continuously improving and progressing, Eurocampus Manila introduced its latest infrastructure developments and renovation works, which will add more classrooms and learning facilities for the children.

Balloons that signify the success of Eurocampus were released to the sky.

The celebration was followed by an official lunch, which also served as a time for fellowship among the French and German delegates. The event was supported by Pamora Farm and ICE Culinary, which served delicious meals during lunch, AXA Life Insurance, and AirFrance.

Eurocampus Manila is a DepEd-accredited international school in Parañaque city, which houses the Lycée Français de Manille (LFM) – French School Manila and the Deutsche Europäische Schule Manila (DESM). While it is known as a European school, Eurocampus Manila offers French, German and International curricula to 700 students of different nationalities not limited to European.
