  • Just a month away from the Christmas Season, now is the right time to chill and enjoy a spooktacular season as we bring you the latest movies you should watch out for this November. We have listed movies with a mix of action, comedy, thriller, and romance and it’s worth the buzz!

    The Snowman (November 1, 2017)

    Being a detective is a fun profession; they are the ones who solve crimes by examining and evaluating clues and personal records in order to uncover the identity and/or whereabouts of the criminal and victims.  The Snowman is a movie about Detective Harry Hole, the one in charge of investigating the case of the sudden disappearance of a woman. In his journey in solving the case, he found the woman’s pink scarf wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman thus the case continues.

     

    Paddington 2 (November 10, 2017)

    Three years after Paddington was first aired on the big screen, this brown bear is now making his comeback! This is a story about a young bear who reaches London but fails to find a home. He was taken in by the Brown family where he was given his name, “Paddington”, naming it after the station where he was found.  Paddington stays in the station for only one night while the Brown Family find a place for him to live permanently.

    Paddington causes a series of accidents across the house, further isolating himself from the Browns. In this movie, Paddington is now settled with the Brown family, picking up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen.

     

    Justice League (November 16, 2017)

    The fifth installment of the DC Extended Universe, this 2017 version of the movie will be highlighting new characters that are present to oppose the evils of the world. See Batman and Wonder Woman form a new team with Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg as they to face the catastrophic threat brought by Steppenwolf (one of the New Gods, the uncle of the archvillain Darkseid, and a member of Darkseid’s Elite) and his army of parademons.

     

    Murder on the Orient Express (November 22, 2017)

    Based on the novel of Agatha Cristy, this movie will start with retelling the journey of Detective Poirot from Istanbul. During the detective’s travel, he was approached by an American businessman named Mr. Ratchett who was another passenger on the train that the detective is not familiar with, claiming his life is in danger. The businessman wanted to hire detective Poirot to discover who is threatening him but the detective himself declined the offer. The next day, the lifeless body of the businessman was found in his cabin and as detective Poirot examines the body, he found a note ‘remember little Daisy Armstrong’ on it, which causes Poirot to ascertain Ratchett’s real identity, and possible motives for his murder.

    Coco (November 22, 2017)

    Basing it from the Mexican festival of the “Day of the Dead”, Coco will now bring you the feel of re-living family memories and traditions. This movie revolves around the character of Miguel who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz despite his family’s generation-old ban on music. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel and his dog Dante found themselves in the Land of the Dead. Along the way, they met charming trickster Hector and together they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
