  • #GetSlicked in BGC: Slickville Barbers opens second branch in Uptown Mall
  • Gentlemen of Makati, BGC, and the like need not trek all the way to Quezon City just to experience top-notch treatment as Slickville Barbers just opened their second branch at Uptown Mall in BGC.

HELLO, SLICKVILLE! Here’s the owner posing for a photo with Taguig Vice Mayor Ricardo Cruz.

IT MAY LOOK STANDARD, but it’s anything but. These are some of the best gear you can get in a barbershop, and the service they provide is nothing short of the best.

Slickville Barbers first opened its doors to gentlemen in and around Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Driven by a desire to give every man a sense of being in an exclusive gentleman’s club, they’ve built their Uptown branch the same way they did with their QC branch: stylish, modern interiors and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

LUCKY 35. A premium pomade brand carried by Hairloom Brand Concepts Inc., and one of two brands that they’ll use when you visit Slickville Barbers for a cut.

GENTLEMAN JACK. Hairloom Brand Concepts Inc.’s latest product, Gentleman Jack is an unorthodox water-based pomade that was introduced just this August. It combines the best of water-based and oil-based pomades in one convenient package.

Slickville Barbers is more than just a high-end barbershop. They also carry several top-of-the-line grooming products for men like Lucky Thirty Five and Gentleman Jack, both of which are produced by their mother company Hairloom Brand Concepts Inc.

IMPERIAL. A grooming brand from the US, it’s a line of barber-grade products that are “Made by Barbers. Made To Work.”

MAVERICK. One of their most popular local pomades is Maverick, offered in two variants: the Leo (for strong hold) and the Captain (for medium hold).

They also carry locally-brewed pomades such as The Maverick, El Hefe’s, and Frank & Co. as well as imported grooming products like Suavecito, Edwin Jagger, and Imperial.

SUAVECITO. A company that not only makes great pomades but has also dabbled in the world of custom cars, motorcycles, tattoos, and barber culture in general… but you’ll only get the grooming products at Slickville.
