    Dr. Bernard Tinio is an ophthalmologist with a sub-specialization in Cornea and Refractive Surgery. He took his sub-specialization in Mount Sinai Medical Center in the United States. Asked why he chose the field of ophthalmology for his specialty, he mentioned the very excellent outpatient and microsurgical practice in this particular discipline.

    As an experienced medical professional for almost 20 years, Dr. Bernard Tinio says that his favorite thing about his job is the patient contact. “I love the fact that I was able to help somebody and impacted them in a way that really mattered to them. In this particular way, I can see the effect my job did to the person– it’s a change in the quality of life. To me, that is the most rewarding thing,” he said.
