  • 1st Colonial Grill, a famous restaurant offering authentic Bicolano fusion dishes, and home of Sili Ice Cream is opening its first branch outside the Bicol Region at NAIA Terminal 3 by the end of the year.

    The restaurant, owned by Mr. Elmer Boy Aspe, has been serving sumptuous Bicolano dishes since 2004. Currently they have 6 branches, located at Daraga, Pacific Mall Gaisano Legazpi, Ayala Mall Legazpi, SM Naga, Centro Naga, and in Sorsogon.

    What makes them stand out from the rest is that they have their own take on making traditional Bicolano dishes more flavorful without losing its natural flavors. Because of their affordability, their food has become a favorite not only among tourists but also for locals. To keep that authentic Bicolano taste, 1st Colonial Grill sources their ingredients from Bicol itself. In that way, they can also help promote Bicol harvests as they support local farmers.

    Make sure to also try their bestsellers like the Tinapa Fried Rice topped with red egg, tomatoes, and tinapa. Then order their famous Tinutungang Manok, a savory Bicolano chicken dish with toasted coconut milk.

    Afterwards, you should order their signature ice cream, which is the Sili Ice Cream which comes in three different levels, with Levels 1 to 3 at P89.00, and Volcano level, the hottest of all, at P110.
