AboitizLand offers true beachfront living with Seafront Residences
Most of us had big dreams as kids, be it with our future career or with our lives in general. Some had dreams of living in a big house, while others wanted to live out their lives by the beach. These dreams typically go to the wayside or are left for dead when life starts to hit you around your mid-20s.
This dream that was once thought of as being out of reach can now be turned into reality as Cebu-bred AboitizLand introduced Seafront Residences, an exclusive beachside residential development in San Juan, Batangas.
“Seafront Residences is primarily designed as a second home or a vacation residence where families can enjoy and create memories together,” said Patrick Reyes, President and COO of AboitizLand.
“We’ve noticed that Filipinos usually build their dream vacation home after retirement, and get to enjoy this with their grandchildren only then. With this development, we want to allow them to do that earlier in their lives, when their own kids are younger and they are more active,” he added.
Concept and Design
Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, AboitizLand’s First Vice President of Operations, said Seafront’s design is all about New Urbanism. Taking its cue from Florida’s Seaside and Alys Beach townships, Seafront Residences is designed to have a community that’s as sustainable as any other.
“Houses, shops, and services will be closer together amid a traditional neighborhood structure, encouraging people to walk more and drive less. Taken together, we are also managing the environmental impact, energy efficiency, and eco-friendliness of the community,” he said.
To turn this dream into reality, they got the same people who designed Seaside and Alys Beach to do the master plan for Seafront: DPZ Partners, LLC. They brought in SC&A Architects and Planners to adapt DPZ’s plans to the Philippines.

For the homes, they stayed on our shores and got one of the country’s best design firms in Budji Layung+Royal Pineda Designs Architects Inc.

As he explained, they want Seafront Residences to be more than just a place to spend a weekend. They want everyone who gets a piece of Seafront Residences to be able to live out their lives in it, and do it right now.
SINGER SONGWRITER NICOLE ASENSIO was more than just the night’s host. She kept everyone grooving with her music.
One of the key things he mentioned was the availability of the units at Seafront Residences. Instead of buying a lot (which is an option at Seafront), people can opt to get a three-bedroom house AND lot at Seafront Residences for as low as P6.5 million. There are also four-bedroom units available starting at P9.5 million per unit.

As a way of showing what your dreams will look like once you choose to live at Seafront Residences, they invited the best athletes from Beach Volleyball Republic (BVR) to an exhibition game. They also brought in singer songwriter Nicole Asensio to provide entertainment, which hyped up the ladies from BVR and kept the crowd going well into the night.
