New rehab center in Taguig to open by 2018
In a report by GMA News, a new drug rehabilitation center is set to open by 2018 at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City as business tycoon Andrew Tan signed a partnership agreement several government agencies for its construction.

The rehab center will have a 500-bed facility equipped with a physical therapy center, an outpatient department building, swimming pool, basketball court, and a gym.
Meanwhile, Business Mirror reported that Tan’s ALLIANCE Global Group Inc. plans to spend a total of P1.2 billion to build four drug-treatment and rehabilitation facilities all over the country. Up-to-date, facilities in Davao and Taguig have been announced, while the other two are said to be in the Visayas and Mindanao.
According to Kevin Tan, AGI executive director, “this modern facility is part of the company’s s ocial responsibility in helping the government to accommodate [drug addicts who need rehabilitation], and help prepare drug dependents to slowly regain their normal lives.”
