1. The Finest Hours
Opens in theaters March 3
Based on a true story, Finest Hours tells the story of a coast guard named Bernie who is assigned to rescue people from a sinking oil tanker. Leaving the love of his life behind, Bernie goes on this mission without hesitation. Catch Bernie and his crew as they take in obstacles to rescue the men from the sinking oil tank. The movie is starring Chris Pine, Casey Affleck and Eric Bana.
2. Concussion
Opens in theaters March 2
Concussion is a story of a doctor who discovers a very serious matter related to National Football League. He finds out that most of the players suffer from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a result of long term effect of having repeated blows to the head. Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic pathologist, was the one to discover these finding. Watch how he takes his findings and reaches out to NFL to help prevent this condition affecting more players. Starring Will Smith, Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and many more.
3. London Has Fallen
Opens in theaters March 3
The sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen is about the British Prime Minister dying under mysterious circumstances and his funeral might be a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders. Staring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, who are reprising their roles, Mehdi Dehbi and Jackie Earle Haley.
4. Allegiant
Opens in theaters March 9
The last installment in the Divergent Series, Allegiant tells about Four and Tris and their adventure outside the 5 factions, the challenges that awaits them outside the walls, and the mysteries they find out about Tris and her mom. With Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Naomi Watts reprising their roles in this first half of the finale, it will surely keep you on the edge of your seat.
5. Miracles from Heaven
Opens in theaters March 16
This story of an ill kid who was miraculously healed after falling off a tree is something to look forward to. This American Christian film tells a story of how a kid, who’s relying on tubes for nutrition and suffering from a pseudo-bstruction motility disorder, is healed after having a near death experience. Starring Jennifer Garner and Kylie Rogers, the movie adaptaion is a must-see.
6. Kung Fu Panda 3
Opens in theaters March 9
The wait is over! Po’s story will be continued in the third installment of Kung Fu Panda. Po found out that he’s adopted and that his parents might not be alive anymore, but meets another panda who looks like him and is searching for his son. With the voices of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, David Cross, Seth Rogen and Jackie Chan as the Furious 5, you are sure to enjoy this new chapter in the kung fu realm.
7. Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice
Opens in theaters March 26
The most awaited DC Comics battle is coming to the silver screen! A continuation of Man of Steel, this movie is about Batman travelling to Metropolis from Gotham City to apparently apprehend Superman, while there’s havoc in the city.
