The Mind Museum in BGC Offers Their Junior Mind Mover Program This Summer
The Mind Museum is now ready to meet new batches of cute and young aspiring scientists in their Junior Mind Mover Program happening from April to May 2020 at The Mind Museum, Taguig City.
The Junior Mind Mover (JMM) Program will allow the kids to go behind-the-scenes of the museum’s galleries and exhibits. With the help of the museum’s resident scientists, they will also have an exciting introduction to different kinds of science.
Not only that, new friends and unforgettable memories also await the young thinkers!
The JJM Program has three sets of classes depending on the enrollee’s age. These classes are classified as TOTS for ages four to six years old, Primes for ages seven to nine years old, and Tweens for ages 10 to 12 years old.
TOTS
The TOTS program will “tickle the curiosity” of the students through stories and play. It will be a help to discover the story of science through games, crafts, and play-learning.
The sessions are scheduled on all Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from April 14 to May 2, 2020. These are nine half-day sessions that will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. TOTS program will also culminate with a graduation party together with the students’ friends and family.
Primes
The Primes program is all about building science skills through teamwork. This will challenge the students with problem-solving which will be done through hands-on experiments, imaginative thinking, and science-sharing.
Scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from April 14 to May 2, sessions will run from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This program will also be wrapped up with a graduation party where they will perform for their family.
Tweens
The Tweens program is set to gear up the next generation of science communicators through dynamic exercises, which will equip the students to take part in the creation of science culture in their circles.
Whole day sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting from May 12 to 21. The students will also design and host their own graduation party where their families could attend.
