  • Cafe del Mar in McKinley Hill: Romantic Casual Cafe by the Grand Canal
  • This cafe was inspired by Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza, although the concept is not exactly the same. Cafe Del Mar Ibiza is a bar hangout oozing with great music and delicious food and drinks.

While the one in Ibiza is a bar by the beach, Cafe Del Mar in McKinley Hill is a cafe and restaurant by the Venice Grand Canal, exuding an atmosphere that is in contrast with the beach vibe. This cafe is more laid-back, casual, and romantic.

Open as early as 9:30 a.m., this cafe is a good place to enjoy a good cup of coffee and delicious food while waiting for the mall and the rest of the establishments in McKinley. They have a wide selection of proudly local coffee, as well as Spanish and Mediterranean-inspired dishes like paella, pizzas, and salads.

One of the best-selling dishes is Paella Mariscos (Php 890), a delicious Spanish-inspired rice dish composed of various seafood like shrimp and mussels, and vegetables and boiled egg slices. The dish is heavy with flavors and good for sharing with friends or family.

For pizza lovers, their must-try is Cafe Del Mar Pizza (Php 610), the cafe’s signature with “everything on it.” By everything, they mean delectable toppings such as pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers and more on top of a crispy thin crust.
