  • Jaytee’s Classic Filipino Cuisine in Tagaytay Serves Filipino Favorites with a Scenic View of Taal Lake
  • Many make the journey to Tagaytay for Bulalo—a Filipino delicacy that’s known for its delicious bone marrow soup and succulent beef shanks. Tagaytay City is home to many restaurants where you can try this dish, one of them, in particular, is Jaytee’s Classic Filipino Cuisine.

Situated along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay City, the restaurant not only boasts delicious Filipino favorites but also a scenic view of Taal Lake.

At Jaytee’s, you’ll find a variety of Filipino favorites including Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Grilled Liempo and Sizzling Pork Sisig, among others. They have Kalderatang Kambing (Php 380), a Filipino dish that features a hearty and thick stew comprised of goat meat, potatoes, and carrots.

If you’re a fan of seafood, they also have Adobong Pusit (Php 450) that features squid cooked using the adobo method, a popular cooking method in the Philippines that uses soy sauce-and-vinegar mixture. This dish is best savored when it’s hot!

The highlight, of course, is their Bulalo. Its broth is tasty, rich, and satisfying enough while the meat is very tender.

Jaytee’s Bulalo comes in three sizes: the small (Php 350) size good for two to three people, the medium (Php 450) for three to four people, and the large (Php 750) good for four to six people. Don’t forget to sample the bone marrow as well!

The majority of the dishes served at Jaytee’s are good for sharing, making them ideal for groups and families who are looking to sample delectable Filipino dishes.

You can also view the beauty of Taal Lake from the restaurant’s alfresco area. The scenic view of the lake provides the ideal backdrop for when you’re enjoying Bulalo and the other Filipino dishes that Jaytee’s has to offer.
