  • Real men rub their meat reads one of the signs on the walls of Pitmaster’s Smokehouse BBQ. While this may not mean anything to most people, barbeque enthusiasts take this to heart. A rub on any meat gives it more flavor, something you’ll get a lot of at Pitmaster’s.

BEST PLACE TO GET RIBS? Only time will tell.

A pitmaster, for all intents and purposes, is someone who operates a barbeque pit. At Pitmaster’s, this is the guy who’s responsible for some of the best char-encrusted meats in town. Their kitchen serves up mean ribs, with their dining area being as badass as the ribs themselves.

    interior

SIMPLE, YET BADASS. Who wouldn’t want to eat here?

Smoking is their preferred method of cooking their barbeque, and they use unique ingredients (which cannot be mentioned) in their rub to bring out the best out of the meat.

    ribs

A PERFECT MEAL. Corn on the cob, ribs, a side dish, and a bottle of craft beer.

Combine their smoked ribs with locally-made draft beer and you have yourself a meal any pitmaster would be proud of.

They’ve only been soft-opened for a week, but signs are already pointing towards a hit. Only time will tell if they will take the title of “best barbeque in town.”

You can find Pitmaster’s Smokehouse BBQ at 64 East Capitol Dr., Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City. They’re open daily from 4 p.m. to 12 m.n. For reservations, please call 02-696-9719.
