The restaurant soft-opened on October 20, 2025, as a new venture formed by a group of friends and industry professionals. Lazy Suzy is owned by Chef Patrick Go and Rafael Rodrigo of Tasteless Food Group, Michael Justine Sañez, Raoul Eduardo Cornelio of Good Meal Concepts, and Maria Denise Liao of Curious Concepts Inc.

Together, the group created a vibrant, social dining space that combines authentic East Asian flavors with a contemporary Manila dining experience. The restaurant is designed for working lunches, after-work dinners, date nights, family meals, and casual gatherings among friends.

A Menu Built Around the Shared Table

Drawing inspiration from East Asian cuisines, Lazy Suzy builds its menu around the idea of sharing. The selection moves from small plates to large-format dishes designed to be placed at the center of the table and enjoyed together.

Guests may begin with the Lazy Suzy Floss Dumplings (Php 350). These crispy fried dumplings are filled with minced pork and shiitake mushrooms, wrapped in crunchy wonton skins, and finished with seaweed floss. They are served with spicy plum aioli for added sweetness and heat.

For a comforting noodle option, the Beef Noodle Soupreme features U.S. Angus beef cheek broth with tender beef slices, wheat noodles, vegetables, and a generous spoonful of house-made chili crisp.

Groups looking for a larger dish may order the Lazy Suzy Beef Charsiu. Lazy Suzy’s reimagining of the classic charsiu uses slow-cooked and grilled Angus beef glazed with its smoky signature charsiu sauce. Available in two sizes, it is designed to be shared family-style.

What’s more, Lazy Suzy also has a private dining room for guests seeking a more intimate setting for business lunches, small celebrations, and special gatherings with family and friends. The space may be reserved for two hours at Php 10,000 during lunch, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or Php 15,000 for dinner reservations beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Reservations, Dress Code, and Pet Policy

Walk-ins are welcome at Lazy Suzy, but reservations are recommended for larger groups and guests planning to use the private dining room. Designed for intimate dinners, corporate meetings, and social gatherings, the private space offers a comfortable setting for occasions that call for greater privacy. Smart casual attire is encouraged, while slippers, sandos, and house wear should be avoided.

Guests may also bring their pets into designated indoor areas, provided they are kept on a leash, inside a carrier, or settled on a blanket. To maintain a pleasant dining environment, management reserves the right to ask that pets be taken outside if they become disruptive, shed excessively, or affect the experience of other diners.

With its sharing-focused menu, modern East Asian influences, and private dining option for different occasions, Lazy Suzy offers a contemporary setting where coworkers, friends, couples, and families can come together around the same table.
