This innovative concept from Zong Restaurant allows you to customize your own noodle bowl.
Chicken Noodle
Inspired by coastal Shanghai, Gubei Noodle Bar brings fresh flavors that evoke mystique and exotic promise of the old-world city.
Even its name is derived from the affluent area in Changning District, best known as an enclave of East Asian expats.
Imagine a city, a melting pot brimming of mix cultures and cuisines—the clean-tasting broth from Japan to the fiery Malatang broth of Beijing, and the bold and punchy flavors of Sichuan turned into a noodle bar, you get Gubei!
Seafood Noodle
This latest innovation lets diners customize their own bowl using Gubei’s homemade noodles, with their fresh and exciting toppings to create a unique taste, as many cultures in East Asia have done with the traditional dish.
Noodle customization can range from Php 220 to Php 265.
Beef Noodle
To enjoy your noodle even better, try Gubei’s house-made sodas that they take inspiration from the French soda concept.
Sample the combinations Lemongrass and Ginger, Cucumber and Mint, and Limes all made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
The first outlet is at the G/F of Beacon Residences along Chino Roces cor. Arnaiz, Makati City. Watch out because more branches are slated to open in the coming months!
How to get here
- Gubei is on the ground floor of Beacon Residences along Chino Roces in front of Eurotel Makati.
- By car: Drive along Arnaiz Ave., then keep right on a small one-way road towards The Beacon. Enter the building for parking space.
