  • Since its establishment in 1983, SUGI Japanese Restaurant in Makati has built a reputation for authentic and expertly crafted dishes.

    After many years in its original Greenbelt location, the restaurant relocated to Palm Promenade, across Glorietta, in September 2024. With a skilled Japanese chef at the helm, the restaurant continues to offer a variety of original Japanese dishes that will satisfy your craving for authentic Japanese cuisine!

    One of the restaurant’s highlights is its sushi, prepared by a seasoned Japanese chef who brings decades of expertise to each dish.

    The sushi is made with the finest ingredients, ensuring a fresh and memorable dining experience. In addition to sushi, the restaurant offers an array of original menu items, each thoughtfully created to showcase the depth and variety of Japanese cuisine.

    For starters, you may try their Tai Uzusukuri made of thinly sliced red snapper for a refreshing appetizer to your meal.

    You may also try their Tori Teba Nanbanzuke, a longtime crowd favorite featuring golden fried chicken wings marinated in a sweet vinaigrette topped with refreshing julienned vegetables.

    For those who would like to have a more intimate dining experience with loved ones or colleagues, the venue offers several private room options, each with a minimum consumable fee.

    Western-style Room 1 can accommodate up to 14 people with a consumable fee of Php 10,000, while Western-style Room 2 accommodates up to 10 people with a Php 8,000 consumable fee. These two rooms can be connected to host a larger group of up to 24 people.

    For a Japanese-inspired ambiance, Japanese-style Room 1 and Japanese-style Room 2 each accommodate eight (8) guests with a consumable fee of Php 8,000 per room. These rooms can also be combined to serve a maximum of 16 guests.

    SUGI Japanese Restaurant also welcomes guests who wish to bring their own favorite beverages. A corkage fee of Php 500 per bottle applies for wine, while sake and other alcoholic beverages incur a fee of Php 1,000 per bottle.
