  • Located in the bustling Pasong Tamo Extension of Makati City, Seryna Yakiniku & Washoku Restaurant, Little Tokyo’s branch, is proud to offer a special, one-of-a-kind dish that showcases the rich flavor of Mindanao’s Wahei Soba.

This unique soba represents a significant part of a peace initiative that began as a support program for former soldiers who were once involved in armed conflicts.

The Wahei Soba is grown through a civilian-led peace project aimed at providing employment opportunities to former combatants, offering them a new chance at life.

Grown at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, the soba benefits from the area’s distinct climate, with the cold and warm temperature fluctuations enhancing its deep, rich flavor. The result is a beautifully aromatic and authentic soba, categorized as a Sarashina-style, known for its delicate, smooth texture.
