  • Lugang Café in Manila Brings a Taste of Authentic Taiwanese Cuisine
  • Good food and a fine dining experience are two great combinations in finding the best restaurant. Lugang Café of the Bellagio Group of Restaurants, Shanghai, may just be the place you are looking for to find delicious Chinese food at a reasonable price. Serving Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine, people get to have a taste of some of their bestsellers without burning a hole in their pockets.

Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao (P258)

One of Lugang Café’s must-try dishes is their Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao, a dish popular among Chinese chefs. It is a steamed bun, which may look like any other dumpling, but is filled with pork and broth.

Chicken Topped with Scallion and Ginger Oil (Php 490)

Their Chicken Topped with Scallion and Ginger Oil is also one of their bestsellers. It is a softly steamed chicken, topped with green onions and ginger oil. What makes this dish special is the collagen in the gelatine-like part between the meat and the chicken skin.

If you’re mostly a lover of noodles, you may also try a variety of noodle dishes with prices ranging from Php 190-Php 400. Cantonese desserts, mostly mantled with ripe mangoes, are also available for those with the sweet-tooth. Dessert prices range from an affordable Php 100 to Php 190. Service charge is not yet included in the prices of each dish.
