Before its opening in Makati, the restaurant first gained recognition in New York and was included in the Michelin Guide New York since 2023 as a recommended restaurant.

Tadhana marks Chef Frances Tariga’s return to Manila after years spent working in New York, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The restaurant’s 10-course tasting menu reflects the Filipino flavors she carried throughout her culinary journey while reimagining authentic Filipino cuisine through a modern perspective.

Born and raised in Manila, Chef Frances Tariga built her culinary career in Dubai, where she worked for the royal family of the United Arab Emirates before later moving to New York as the private chef of the royal ambassador of Dubai to the United Nations.
Her culinary background includes work at restaurants such as Buddakan, Catch NYC, Megu, Catch Steak, and The Standard High Line in New York. Chef Frances also competed on television cooking competitions including Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, and Top Chef Season 13, before later winning Morimoto’s Sushi Master with her Filipino-inspired approach to modern omakase.
