  • There is a pizzeria in town that some may not have discovered just yet, but it is already quietly winning over pizza lovers one fresh, hot slice at a time. This rising spot is drawing attention for its fun mix of Italian tradition and Japanese flair, serving pizzas that feel both familiar and pleasantly unexpected.

Opened in July 2025 at Creekside, Makati, near the well-known Little Tokyo area, Pizzeria Maestro offers a distinct take on pizza by bringing together Italian tradition and Japanese creativity.

Inspired by the shared passion of an Italian chef and a Japanese food artisan, the restaurant highlights pizzas that stay rooted in authentic Italian techniques while incorporating ingredients and flavors that reflect Japanese taste and sensibility.

Its menu features a mix of familiar favorites and more inventive options. Those who prefer classic flavors may go for the Margherita with Cream Cheese (Php 295 / 8″), which brings together parmesan cheese, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, and pizza sauce, made even richer with the addition of cream cheese.

The result is a comforting and well-balanced pizza with the familiar savory taste of a classic Margherita, complemented by a creamy finish that adds extra depth to every bite.

Another classic option on the menu is the Pepperoni (Php 305), a familiar favorite that delivers the savory, satisfying flavors many pizza lovers look for.

For diners in the mood for something more distinctive, the Beef Sukiyaki offers a flavorful Japanese-inspired twist. It is topped with marinated sukiyaki beef, shiitake mushrooms, sukiyaki sauce, caramelized onions, and roasted sesame, creating a rich combination of sweet and savory notes. With its tender beef and deeply seasoned toppings, it brings a unique character to the menu while still feeling warm and comforting.

Other unique pizza offerings include Pork Ginger (Php 310), or the more unusual Unagi or Eel Pizza (Php 495).

Finally, a fairly new pizza entry on their menu is the Mashed Potato Pizza mixed with ripe tomatoes and onions, drizzled with Japanese mayo and crowned with crispy bacon on a golden crust. These selections reflect the restaurant’s effort to offer both comfort and surprise in every bite.

What sets Pizzeria Maestro apart is its careful preparation. Each pizza is made only after an order is placed, with the dough prepared with attention and every pie baked fresh until beautifully browned. This commitment to freshness and craftsmanship reflects the meaning behind the restaurant’s name, as “Maestro” suggests true mastery in the art of pizza making.

Guests may enjoy their pizzas in the restaurant’s warm and homey setting, making it a pleasant spot for casual meals. For added convenience, takeout is also available, while those staying at home or in the office may have their pizzas delivered via Grab.

Whether for a relaxed dine-in meal or a shared feast with family and friends, Pizzeria Maestro brings a fresh and memorable pizza experience to Makati.
