Group Hopes to Bring Person or Persons Responsible for Appalling Cruelty to Justice Makati City — Twelve community cats from Dasmariñas Village have gone missing, and some have been found dead, apparently from unnatural causes. The circular released by village management reports that one cat died slowly and painfully from chemical burns after paint thinner was poured over him. The community cats in Dasmariñas Village have been spayed and neutered through CARA Welfare’s Trap-Neuter-Return program and are fed by residents of the village. Nine Filipino Youths Join the Asian International Children’s Film Festival 2015 in Japan

Nine high school students from the Philippines headed over to Japan last Monday, November 23rd to participate in the Asian International Children’s Film Festival 2015. They stayed for 9 days in Kitami City, Hokkaido, Japan, where festival delegates from different participating nations were exposed to traditional Japanese culture and customs. Japan’s apples and pears are now available in Metro Manila

Rustan’s marketplace in Metro Manila started the retailing of apples and pears from Yamagata Prefecture, Japan from December 5th, and will continue until January 2016. Shoppers can see and buy the Japanese apple varieties of “Sinano-Gold” and “Sinano-Sweet” and the popular pear variety “La-France” at the Rustan’s Marketplace outlets.
