Japanese Fashion Brand Uniqlo is now open at UP Town Center, Katipunan!
Attention, Uniqlo fans! The Japanese brand just opened its newest branch at UP Town Center, September 23 (Friday). As per announcement by Katsumi Kubota, COO of Uniqlo Philppines, Uniqlo is opening six stores in the Philippines by June 2016. “We are thrilled to announce that Uniqlo will open four new stores in Luzon by May and two new stores in the Visayas by June, as we continue to bring high-quality and innovative clothing to Filipinos,” said Katsumi Kubota, COO of Uniqlo Philippines. Asia World Hospitality awards 31 individuals on hospitality and tourism expertise
Asia World Hospitality recently awarded some 30 individuals during three separate ceremonies last month as part of efforts to develop and upgrade the tourism and hospitality industry in the Philippines in line with international standards. LRT-MRT common station agreement to be signed this month
Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade has confirmed that the agreement on the LRT-MRT common station will be signed this month. The common station is set to be built between Ayala Land’s Trinoma Mall and SM North EDSA in Quezon City. The station would connect the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), and the proposed MRT Line 7 in Quezon City. UP is ranked 374th in QS World Rankings. Another long weekend is coming up soon as Muslims around the world observe their annual Feast of Sacrifice on September 12, 2016, Monday. Malacanang Palace has announced that September 12, is officially a regular holiday throughout the Philippines in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice). The announcement was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on Sept. 5, Monday under Republic Act No. 9849. In line with the usage of the new government complaint hotline 8888, major telecommunications service provider Globe Telecom has changed their Globe and Touch Mobile (TM) access number to 8080.
