World Food Expo (WOFEX): Evolution (August 7 to 10)
The country’s biggest food show is back on its 18th year and yes, it’s bigger than ever! Occupying two venues namely the SMX Convention Center Manila and the World Trade Center, WOFEX is open to the public from August 7 to 10. Expect a wide array of food products and services from major F&B suppliers, new exhibitors, and known industry players both in the local and international scene. Admission is only Php 200.

Ayala Museum Workshops On-The-Go – Art Room: Watercolor Painting Workshop (August 10)
Ayala Museum may have temporarily closed its doors for renovation, but their Ayala Museum On-The-Go brings the museum closer to the public through mobile exhibits, workshops, lectures, and concert series all over the country.
One of their first activities is the Watercolor Painting Workshop, which will happen on August 10 and 17 at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Greenbelt 5, Makati City. Students will learn the basics of watercolor painting, specifically in Urban Landscapes and Clouds & Seascapes. Workshop fee is at Php 2,750.

PD TechFest 2019 (August 10)
Foreign and local experts from the fields of programming and web development will be at the PD TechFest 2019 to talk about the latest developments in Microsoft Technologies. Everyone is greatly encouraged to attend this one-day event to be held at iACADEMY Nexus, Yakal Campus, Makati City on August 10. Registration is free for all.

Madagascar: A Musical Adventure (Until August 18)
Witness Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo from the Dreamworks film Madagascar come to life at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, BGC. Join their gang as they go on a fun adventure back home after being shipped out from the Central Park Zoo. Tickets are available via Ticket World online.

Dani Girl: A Musical About Hope (August 10 to September 1)
Be inspired by the story of Dani Lyons, a 9-year old battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Join her as she embarks on a journey with her best friend Marty, who is also a cancer patient, and her “guardian angel” Raph. Together, they seek the answer to the questions “why cancer?” Buy your tickets at Ticket World online starting from Php 900.
