  • Jim Beam Citrus Highball May Be Your Next Go-To Cocktail
  • It can be boring at times to order the same drink at the bar over and over. Same old mojito, same old beer. This is why it’s always good to discover new drinks that will match your taste (and alcohol tolerance).

That’s the case with Jim Beam Citrus Highball—it’s not your typical cocktail where you feel like it’s either there’s little or too much alcohol in it. It has a perfect balance, not to mention VERY refreshing.

Honestly, you won’t think that it’s an alcoholic drink as you’ll feel the intense frizz upon the first sip. The drink is available at Chotto Matte in BGC, but you can easily create your own at home.

Luckily, the bartenders demonstrated how to create your own highball. Just follow these five easy steps:

    1. Squeeze one lemon into your glass.
    2. Add 30 ml of Jim Beam Highball.
    3. Add ice.
    4. Add soda water.
    5. Stir your drink once, 360 degrees.

You can also use calamansi if you want a more sour taste.

As you can see, the alcohol ratio is just 1:3, so it’s not a hardcore drink. It’s very ideal to drink with your friends, especially during this summer! Also, note that it’s important to keep your glass chilled before crafting your own cocktail.

If you’re bold enough, you may also try the spirit alone. Jim Beam Highball contains 40% ABV.

The best part? Jim Beam Highball will also have a pop-up bar this coming April 24 to 28, 2019 at Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City. Better watch out as there are two local bands set to perform (hint: one of them is Autotelic).
