  • Just like the lyrics of the classic Christmas song, it is indeed beginning to look and feel like Christmas in most parts of the Metro. Houses and establishments are filled with colorful lights and decors, and Christmas songs can now be heard in malls.

    Adding to these are numerous Christmas attractions that people of all ages enjoy seeing. While waiting for Christmas day, why not awaken your Yuletide spirit by visiting some of the most picturesque lights and sounds display in the Metro this year?

    SM Mall of Asia’s Grand Festival of Lights

    On its 10th year, the biggest and brightest holiday lights parade at SM Mall of Asia’s Grand Festival of Lights is ready to showcase over a hundred Christmas characters and magical floats that people of all ages would enjoy. Meet Santa Claus and his MOA Magical friends as they march through the lights and music starting 5:30 p.m. at the North and South Arcades. You may also watch the Christmas Fireworks display at 7 p.m.

    Ayala Malls: Night of Lights

    If you are planning a weekend night out with family and friends, don’t forget to drop by Ayala Malls to witness the eye-catching display of 3D mapping lights show. The Night of Lights show will start in Glorietta on November 30 and will end in Alabang Town Center on December 23. The show will commence at 6:30 p.m. until the mall closes.

    The Araneta Center: Christmas on Display

    Relive your good ol’ childhood Christmas memories in Araneta Center as they bring back this well-loved Christmas Display in the metro. After 16 years, the Christmas on Display returns this year to spread the Christmas spirit through a presentation on Filipino Christmas traditions. So gather your family at Times Square Food Park, and witness why this Christmas display is worth seeing.

    When: November 23, 2018 to January 6, 2019, 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Sunday to Thursday)/ 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Friday and Saturday)

    Ayala Triangle: Festival of Lights

    For the 30th anniversary of Ayala Land, they partnered with The Walt Disney Company Philippines to roll off the 10th year of the much-anticipated Festival of Lights. With the theme “Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights”, enjoy the delightful dancing lights display accompanied by orchestral renditions of some of the famous Disney songs such as ‘Part of Your World’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘A Whole New World’, ‘A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes’, and ‘I See The Light’.

    SM Aura Premier: Prism of Lights

    Experience an immersive Christmas display at SM Aura Premier, and have a glimpse of the beauty of the night sky in Prism of Lights exhibit. Together with Huawei Mobile Philippines, SM Aura Premier unfolds an interactive art exhibit that aims to let mall-goers envelop the art of lights for free. Drop by at this futuristic exhibit, have the opportunity to play with lights, and take your best photos of the pristine exhibit!

    Eastwood City: Enchanted Forest of Lights

    Eastwood City prepared a one of a kind Christmas display on this year’s Enchanted Forest of Lights. It will feature 60 lighted replicas of animals, sea creatures and versions of some of the famous skyscrapers along Eastwood Citywalk, Eastwood Avenue, and Eastwood Mall Open Park. Children and adults will surely be in awe whilst walking around the majestic jungle-themed lights display at Eastwood City.

    Filinvest City, Alabang: Christmas is Alive

    Christmas is definitely alive in the south as Filinvest City, Alabang presents their own version of Christmas wonderland with a dazzling lights display at the Spectrum Linear Park. Reminisce your childhood as you stroll around the park flourished with colorful displays such as the Christmas train, hot air balloons, and fireworks. Walk under the neon-lighted archway leading to the 40-foot tall Christmas Tree right at the center of the park. Don’t forget to watch the weekly performances of local artists and explore an array of delectable eats!
