  • The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) has been announced to be even more convenient for examinees as the British Council Philippines announces the new computer-delivered format for the Academic or General Training.

Starting November 2018, examinees now have the choice of taking the IELTS on paper and on the computer. The Listening, Reading and Writing sections of paper-based IELTS are completed on the same day, while the Speaking test can be completed up to a week before or after the other tests.

However, people with special requirements must take the test on paper.

All four sections of computer-delivered IELTS are completed on the same day, but there will be more available test schedules throughout the week. The British Council also accepts registration as close to three days before the test date.

IELTS are usually taken on hotels, test sites, and at the British Council office at 7th Floor, The Curve 32nd Street, Taguig

The IELTS is an international standardized English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration. Designed to reflect how the language will be used to live in an English speaking country, IELTS assesses all of the English skills–reading, writing, listening and speaking. The current IELTS test fee is Php 10,270.
