British Council launches IELTS Hub in BGC
Celebrating their 40th year in the Philippines, The British Council launched its newest English language testing hub at The Curve in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The learning hub is set to be a creative and inclusive place for to learn the English language and prepare for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
The British Council in the Philippines will provide registrants with services such as IELTS orientations and pretests, preparation and writing workshops, information sessions as well as have full access to their library in their fifteen test centers in the country. Workshops familiarizes test takers to the four sections of the IELTS test: Listening, Reading, Writing, Writing, and Speaking. Meanwhile, the IELTS Library houses a full shelf of IELTS books, practice test materials, audio CDs, and other resources.
IELTS is an internationally recognized English test. The test complies with the highest international standards for language assessments and provides an accurate evaluation of an individual’s listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. Passing the text is a requirement to study, work or emigrate in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the United States and Ireland.
The new British Council Learning Hub is located at the British Council’s new office on the 7th floor of The Curve at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City. Anyone can register for either a regular IELTS program, which costs about Php 10,270. EILTS for the UK costs Php 13,885, or an IELTS Life Skills program, which costs Php 10,415.
