  • The Philippines is a unique archipelago with thriving nature both on land and underwater, with stunning natural landscapes and local communities with colorful cultures. This is evident in the many tourist destinations in the country that are not only awe-inspiring but are also worth a thousand pictures.

If you’re planning a summer getaway that you can also show off to your friends on your Instagram or blog, be sure to include these places in your summer plans!

    The Inflatable Island
    Subic, Zambales

The Inflatable Island in Zambales is not only the biggest floating playground in Asia but also probably the most Instagrammable! The floating playground itself is a combination of vibrant colors—blue, orange, and white. After you finish playing, you can rest at their Bali-inspired lounge set up right on the shore and under the sun. It features a bunch of colorful bean bags and charming umbrellas, a perfect spot for a bright and colorful photo that requires no editing. Hashtag, #nofilter!

Calle Crisologo is a popular street in Vigan that oozes history and beauty. It is a nice place to stroll and be slowly transported back in time as you revel in the old-world charm of its Spanish-era architecture. Cagsawa Ruins

Perfection, nature, and history—that’s what you can capture in one photo at Cagsawa Ruins. This heritage park is one of the most sought-after spots in Albay to get a close and clear view of Mayon Volcano, a perfect cone, a masterpiece of nature. The most famous backdrop for a photo includes the surviving bell tower of the old Cagsawa Church, which was hit by a violent volcanic eruption in 1814. It’s best to visit Cagsawa Ruins in the morning when the sky is generally clear so that you can get an unobstructed view of Mayon Volcano.
