    Gyukatsu is a Japanese dish consisting of breaded and deep-fried beef cutlet. Unlike traditional tonkatsu, which is made with pork, gyukatsu uses beef, typically served rare.

    At the recently soft opened Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu – SM MoA, this dish is served rare, allowing diners to cook the beef cutlet to their preferred level of doneness on a sizzling stone plate provided at the table. It is served with various sides such as rice, shredded cabbage, miso soup, and a dipping sauce that further amplifies its umaminess.
