  • Gusto Gelato in Palawan: Gelato, Crepes, and Waffles
  • Looking for something simple and sweet as you start your day in El Nido? Gusto Gelato is just around the along Calle Hama and they offer a variety of gelato, crepes, and waffles, with drinks such as coffee and tea.

Choose from over 10 types of gelato you can enjoy in cups or even better, an artisanal homemade waffle cone. One scoop is only Php 120, two for Php 180, and three for Php 240. Maybe even add a shot of Baileys for Php 80 for an elegant boozy ice cream.

For the waffle, try Gusto Gelato’s house special, Nutella Coconut (Php 200) with free banana perfect for enjoying in such a paradise such as El Nido. Other things to try are Nutella Mango (Php 200) and Peanut Butter (Php 140).

Pair your cold treats with hot coffee or tea brewed fresh so if you are in a lookout for a good cuppa, this is truly the place in El Nido for a good breakfast. Be sure to come in early as this is a popular place and there may be a line.

The gelato is also made fresh daily so it may not be readily available first thing in the morning. There are seats in the area but with all the Gusto Gelato fans of both tourists and locals, seats may be full but guests are most welcome in the Pangolin Bar upstairs!

    How to get here

    •  Gusto Gelato is along Calle Hama in Barangay Buena Suerte, El Nido
    •  No cars or even tricycles are allowed along the street save for some motorcycles that tourists can rent in the city. From the El Nido Municipal Hall, go right along Real St. and turn to R. Magsaysay St. where Gusto Gelato will be near the far corner.
