  • Ayala Museum On-The-Go goes to Commune Cafe, Makati City with exciting workshops and talks that you wouldn’t want to miss!

    Their exciting workshops will start on September 7, 2019, while their talks will start on September 21.

    Kicking-off their On-The-Go at Commune Cafe is a series of Fantasy Writing Workshops for Adults with Dean Francis Alfar.

    The first workshop will be on creating your own fantasy universe in Worldbuilding: Creating a Fantasy World on September 7. You can’t have a world with no one to live in it, that’s why for the second workshop, you’ll learn character creation in Characterization: Creating Characters in a Fantasy World on September 21.

    Dean Francis Alfar is a playwright, novelist, and writer of speculative fiction. He has won numerous awards for his works, including ten Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature.

    There is also a drawing workshop for teens and adults! Train your drawing hands at Ink Diaries – A Visual Journey on Ink Drawing with Abe Orobia, an Asian Modern & Contemporary artist. This one-day workshop will take place on September 28.

    Further, their series of talks titled Starting Conversations: Explaining Issues and Sensitive Topics to Kids will start on September 21 with a talk on Sex and Sexuality. This is followed by a talk on Children and Challenges on September 28.

    Here’s how you can join these exciting events:

    1. Pre-register and check for slot openings here.
    2. Once you’ve pre-registered, deposit your bank payment to the Ayala Foundation Inc. via the Bank of the Philippine Islands.
    3. Take a photo or screenshot of the payment confirmation slip/page.
    4. Email your deposit slip to education@ayalamuseum.org.
